Terms of Service — Healthipal

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Healthipal mobile application ("App") or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

Healthipal grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service. You must be at least 13 years of age to use Healthipal. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Health & Fitness Disclaimer

Healthipal is designed to support your personal health and fitness goals. The content provided — including workout plans, exercise guides, and health tracking — is for general informational and motivational purposes only. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new exercise programme, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, or health concern. Use the App at your own risk.

4. Account Registration

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your information up to date. Notify us immediately at support@healthipal.app if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

5. User Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. Health data you input into the App is stored securely and used solely to provide and improve the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software — are the exclusive property of Healthipal and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Service to harm, threaten, or harass others; (b) upload or transmit viruses or malicious code; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service; (d) scrape, crawl, or otherwise collect data from the Service in an automated manner; (e) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; or (f) use the Service in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Healthipal and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason. You may discontinue use of the Service at any time by deleting your account.
